Description

  • Review, edit, and proofread transcripts for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to company standards and format.
  • Correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, formatting, speaker identification, and product naming errors.
  • Match transcripts to audio files verbatim and ensure contextual accuracy.
  • Use custom dictionaries and internet research to verify industry-specific terminology when needed.
  • Organize, format, and deliver transcripts in the required format by set deadlines.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive content with discretion.
  • Work efficiently while maintaining steady focus to achieve fast turnaround times.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in transcription, editing, or a related field.
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to understand different accents and audio qualities.
  • Excellent command of English grammar, syntax, and punctuation.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to produce error-free work.
  • Proficiency with text editing and document formatting software such as Microsoft Word or Google Docs.
  • Proficiency with tools such as instant messaging applications, Excel, and email.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple editing projects at once.
  • Familiarity with AI transcription tools is a plus.
  • Broad financial literacy and general understanding of financial market concepts is a plus.
  • Knowledge of industries and terminologies such as finance, tech, medical, or biotech is a plus.
  • Experience editing transcription, webcast, call, or medical report content on short timelines is a plus.
  • Experience with CK Editor or similar editing software is a plus but not required.
