Description

  • Facilitate new organizational strategic plans or strategic-plan refreshes.
  • Design planning sessions, stakeholder input processes, and decision records.
  • Translate session outcomes into mission statements, goals, strategies, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Develop practical measures and scorecards organizations can track.
  • Prepare strategic-planning materials for boards, councils, and leadership teams.
  • Keep plans aligned with each organization’s actual capacity rather than generic templates.
  • Contribute facilitation approaches and past-performance narratives to authorized proposals.
  • Travel occasionally to client locations as project needs require.

Requirements

  • Experience facilitating an organizational strategic plan through adoption for a government, district, agency, or nonprofit.
  • Ability to identify a strategic plan by organization, year, and personal role.
  • Ability to turn facilitated input into goals, strategies, and a written implementation roadmap.
  • Experience presenting to a board, council, or executive team.
  • Comfort working as a 1099 project-based collaborator.
  • Availability for occasional client travel.
  • Experience developing implementation scorecards or conducting post-adoption progress reviews preferred.
  • Experience working with a school board, city council, or public authority preferred.
