Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, mission-critical brokerage systems.
  • Develop middle- and back-office systems, including gRPC microservices, React-based administration tools, and third-party integrations.
  • Enhance core frameworks to support multiple languages, currencies, and markets.
  • Collaborate with engineering leads and cross-functional teams across global regions.
  • Troubleshoot incidents and bugs to maintain system integrity, availability, and performance.
  • Serve as regional operational reliability lead and incident commander during business hours.
  • Support regional recruitment, mentor engineers, and foster engineering practices and culture.
  • Navigate regulatory requirements while building systems for international growth.
  • Participate in on-call coverage as needed.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Go or a comparable backend language and robust system architecture design.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals and software architecture experience.
  • Experience with event-driven system design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with global teams, regulators, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience leading incident response and troubleshooting production issues.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote, globally distributed, fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to connect technical decisions to business objectives.
  • Experience with domain-driven design, global teams, or fast-growing technology companies (preferred).
  • Financial services experience, particularly with brokerage systems, trading platforms, financial APIs, transaction processing, settlement, or double-entry accounting (preferred).
