Description

  • Own one core trading sub-surface end-to-end, including prioritization, API design, and rollout.
  • Run discovery with partners and prospects to understand integration constraints and translate findings into a sequenced backlog.
  • Write clear PRDs, align with engineering on API contracts, and produce implementation-ready documentation.
  • Partner with compliance, legal, and market structure/execution teams on product decisions involving licensing, trading rules, best execution, and venue connectivity.
  • Improve operational efficiency through exception handling, partner-facing tooling, automation, and metric ownership.
  • Track adoption metrics such as trading volume, order success rate, partner activation, and reported blockers, then iterate on the product and rollout.
  • Report product status and results accurately and on time to internal and external stakeholders, including partners.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Engineering, Consulting, or startup founding, preferably in equities, options, FX, money market funds, or regulated trading/brokerage infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated depth on at least one trading surface such as an asset class, execution/order management, margin, FIX, or another core trading capability, shipped to production scale.
  • Experience shipping B2B or developer-facing products such as SDKs, APIs, or partner integrations.
  • Comfort shipping in parallel with compliance, legal, and market-structure teams in a regulated environment.
  • Experience analyzing data using SQL and a relevant BI tool.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, finance, or equivalent.
  • Strong business acumen to balance stakeholder needs, technical feasibility, time, and budget tradeoffs.
  • Direct broker-dealer or institutional brokerage experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the B2B2C correspondent or broker-as-a-service model is preferred.
  • Experience shipping non-US trading products or complex asset classes such as Global Stocks, FX, Options, or MMFs is preferred.
  • Experience with US market structure and regulatory frameworks such as Reg NMS, Reg SHO, FINRA/SEC best execution rules, or FINRA OATS/CAT is preferred.
  • Familiarity with FIX protocol, OMS/EMS systems, smart order routing, or venue/liquidity-provider integrations is preferred.
  • Background in broker-dealer trading operations, including exceptions, trade breaks, and regulatory reporting, is preferred.
  • AI-native PM workflow using tools such as Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, NotebookLM, or custom agents is preferred.
