Description

  • Review, validate, approve, process, and release client money movement requests across ACH, wires, RTP, checks, and internal journals.
  • Reconcile daily cash movements, deposits, and settlement activity to ensure accurate posting.
  • Monitor and resolve exceptions, returns, rejects, and transaction discrepancies.
  • Partner with custodians, clearing firms, and banking partners to resolve delays and operational issues.
  • Prepare and review daily and monthly operational reports, including transaction coding oversight.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and case tracking in Salesforce and internal systems.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and data privacy standards.
  • Identify operational risks and escalate suspicious or high-risk transactions appropriately.
  • Support audits, reporting requirements, and special projects as needed.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Compliance, Risk, and Technology to improve processes and train internal teams on money movement procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial services, brokerage operations, banking, or cashiering.
  • Direct experience processing money movements such as ACH, wires, checks, journals, and preferably RTP.
  • Experience interacting with custodians, clearing firms, or correspondent banks.
  • Strong understanding of operational risk and fraud controls.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other case management systems, preferred.
  • Experience with portfolio accounting or broker-dealer systems, preferred.
  • Experience in fintech or high-growth environments, preferred.
