Description

  • Lead planning, design coordination, and construction for ground-up, mixed-use, core-and-shell, and interior fit-out projects.
  • Own concurrent projects across scope, schedule, budget, risk, permitting, construction, and opening.
  • Review architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings and resolve constructability issues.
  • Build and coordinate teams of internal partners, architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants.
  • Partner with Real Estate, Store Design, Facilities, Legal, Finance, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Manage landlords, developers, general contractors, consultants, and municipal officials.
  • Develop and manage budgets and construction contracts, including GMP, lump-sum, and CM-at-risk agreements.
  • Lead contractor and vendor selection, RFPs, bid leveling, negotiations, cost tracking, and forecasting.
  • Provide senior leadership with project updates, risks, mitigation plans, and financial performance.
  • Ensure quality, brand standards, code compliance, permitting progress, and jobsite safety.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive construction and project management experience.
  • Hands-on experience delivering ground-up, multistory, mixed-use, and core-and-shell projects.
  • Retail, hospitality, brand-driven store development, owned real estate, or flagship project experience preferred.
  • Ability to independently interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings and specifications.
  • Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects and diverse internal and external teams.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, financial management, contract negotiation, and cost-control skills.
  • Practical problem-solving, sound judgment under ambiguity, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and results-oriented leadership style.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites; fluent English required, with additional languages a plus.
