Description

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for leadership, the board, and investors.
  • Build financial models to support budgeting, planning, and forecasting.
  • Perform monthly budget variance analysis and forecast vs. actual analysis.
  • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and performance reporting using SQL and Looker.
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and other teams on analytical projects.
  • Contribute to ad hoc strategic analyses such as paid acquisition, product launches, and international market opportunities.
  • Support annual and long-term planning processes.
  • Respond to inbound diligence requests and other ad hoc strategic projects.
  • Prepare raw data pulls and polished presentations for reporting and analysis.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, management consulting, or strategic finance/FP&A.
  • Experience with annual and long-range forecasting and forecast vs. actual variance reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL and business intelligence tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical rigor.
  • Solid presentation skills with the ability to communicate quantitative and qualitative insights clearly and visually.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to teammates and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Curious, experimental mindset, especially with emerging AI tools and technologies.
  • Humility, empathy, and open-mindedness.
  • Preferred: experience with software and internet businesses.
  • Preferred: bottoms-up, cohorted subscription revenue financial modeling experience.
  • Preferred: experience performing financial analysis at a B2C subscription company.
  • Preferred: exposure to board-level or executive audiences.
