Description

  • Act as a trusted advisor to customer technical architects and business stakeholders on technical solutions and product training.
  • Connect business processes to Algolia’s technical product solutions.
  • Lead project delivery using a structured methodology to keep work on time and on budget.
  • Troubleshoot customer implementation issues and drive them to resolution.
  • Prototype and catalog new solutions that address customer business pain points.
  • Advise customers on architecture, indexing, search, and UI best practices.
  • Expand customer relationships and product usage within the enterprise segment.
  • Participate in customer calls and on-site visits to inform and align product roadmaps.
  • Develop action plans, roadmaps, prototypes, final recommendation documents, and retrospective materials.
  • Partner with Success Management, Engagement Management, Engineering, and Product teams to coordinate goals, resolve feature requests and bugs, and share product updates.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing, deeply technical, and consultative role.
  • Experience working with ecommerce or search technologies.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end development.
  • Proficiency with a backend framework such as Node, Rails, or Django.
  • Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives and both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on project management experience on large and small initiatives.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, manage risks, and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing business and technical conditions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technology and business audiences.
  • Spanish or Portuguese language skills are a plus.
  • Backend or frontend mobile development experience is a plus.
  • Experience with analytics and A/B testing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce, search, CMS, or DXP verticals is a plus.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Experience in search-domain or search-as-a-service companies is a plus.
  • Experience in a high-growth environment with significant change and internal infrastructure building is a plus.

  • On-target earnings pay range of $144,000 to $207,000 USD, including base salary and commission.
