Description

  • Own core features of the Algolia Dashboard Platform and contribute to its operation and deployment.
  • Build new infrastructure services that enable fast, autonomous deployment for engineering teams using Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS.
  • Develop tooling, features, and guidelines that improve developer experience across the company.
  • Collaborate with developers to support adoption and effective use of internal tools.
  • Lead projects independently from planning through delivery.
  • Coordinate changes across multiple projects and teams when needed.
  • Research, explore, and deliver world-class developer experiences.
  • Share knowledge on software engineering, testing, and deployment best practices.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in a similar backend or infrastructure-focused role.
  • Strong knowledge of modern infrastructure management with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform on cloud providers such as AWS or GCP.
  • Familiarity with AI coding agents.
  • Strong rigor around code quality, automated testing, and engineering best practices.
  • A strong focus on developer experience.
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills.
  • Experience working at a high-growth company with more than 10,000 customers and in the $50M–$200M ARR range is preferred.
  • Experience with Go and Ruby on Rails is a nice to have.
  • Knowledge of modern web development technologies including JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS is a nice to have.
