Description

  • Contribute to the operation and deployment of Dashboard Platform features.
  • Build new infrastructure platform services that enable quick and autonomous deployment for all teams.
  • Develop tooling, features, and guidelines that improve developer experience.
  • Collaborate with other developers to support adoption and usage of internal tools.
  • Take ownership of projects and deliver developer experience improvements with autonomy.
  • Plan ahead and coordinate changes across multiple projects and teams when needed.
  • Share knowledge on software engineering, testing, and deployment best practices.
  • Work on core features of the Algolia Dashboard.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in a similar senior backend engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of modern infrastructure management with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Experience with cloud providers such as AWS or GCP.
  • Familiarity with AI coding agents.
  • High standards for code quality, automated testing, and engineering best practices.
  • Strong interest in developer experience.
  • Well-spoken and written English skills.
  • Experience at a high-growth stage company with 10,000+ customers and $50M–$200M ARR is preferred.
  • Experience with Go and Ruby on Rails is nice to have.
  • Knowledge of modern web development technologies including JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS is nice to have.
