Description

  • Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for data collection and transformation capabilities within the Data Platform.
  • Identify and prioritize platform capabilities that deliver the most value to customers and internal teams.
  • Translate business and customer problems into clear product requirements and implementation milestones.
  • Design and evolve data transformation capabilities that convert raw data from multiple sources into Algolia-ready formats.
  • Drive schema alignment, normalization, and mapping to make customer data searchable and usable quickly.
  • Partner with Connector and Data Platform teams to create seamless ingestion and transformation workflows.
  • Establish and improve data quality standards for accuracy, completeness, and consistency across records.
  • Collaborate with engineering to build scalable APIs, services, and UIs such as pipeline monitoring tools.
  • Define platform metrics, instrumentation, experiments, and rollouts to measure impact and adoption.
  • Work with GTM, Professional Services, and partner teams to improve onboarding workflows, documentation, and best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, data platforms, or developer products.
  • Demonstrated ability to own and grow a technical product area end-to-end as an individual contributor.
  • Strong experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, data transformation, schema design/alignment, and data quality systems.
  • Familiarity with event tracking, ingestion frameworks, and data modeling for search, analytics, or ML.
  • Experience with APIs, connectors, and data tooling in developer-first or platform environments.
  • Track record of defining vision, KPIs, and roadmaps for complex technical product areas.
  • Comfort working across multiple teams and dependencies while driving alignment without direct authority.
  • Ability to simplify complex data systems and explain trade-offs to engineers, leadership, and customers.
  • Experience presenting product strategies, PR/FAQs, and roadmap updates to senior stakeholders.
