Description

Restructure an existing single-brand design system into a scalable multi-brand architecture.
Separate shared platform foundations from brand-specific expression.
Build a new brand library and refactor existing components.
Audit and classify an existing component ecosystem to identify what should be shared or brand-specific.
Support the prototype of a new e-commerce experience using the design system.
Create clean, logical, documented Figma files and component specifications.
Collaborate with UX, Design, Development, E-commerce, and brand stakeholders.
Provide practical usage guidelines and organized handoff documentation.
Make design decisions that scale across pages, brands, launches, and developer workflows.

Requirements

Portfolio demonstrating design systems, scalable libraries, and component architecture work.
Strong design systems mindset with understanding of foundations, libraries, governance, and versioning.
Advanced Figma experience with components, variants, properties, nested instances, auto-layout, variables, tokens, and responsive behavior.
Experience building or working deeply with token architecture using Figma variables.
Knowledge of primitive, semantic, and component-level tokens.
Experience refactoring existing systems and migrating work without introducing inconsistencies.
Strong design fundamentals in typography, hierarchy, alignment, spacing, layout, and visual balance.
Understanding of e-commerce concepts such as product pages, offers, promotions, bundles, pricing hierarchy, content modules, CTAs, comparison sections, and purchase paths.
Front-end awareness with comfort using HTML and CSS and collaborating around React-based component frameworks.
Experience with Storybook, Chromatic, or a similar component/UI-kit environment is preferred.
This is a 12-month contract role and is not a junior position.
