Description

  • Lead technical architecture decisions for full-stack EHR integration and point-of-care products.
  • Build and deploy full-stack applications for browser-based and Windows desktop EHR systems.
  • Integrate point-of-care products such as diagnosis suggestions, analytics, and care suggestions into the company architecture.
  • Collaborate with technical stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate healthcare needs into technology solutions.
  • Provide strategic technical leadership across the organization and influence company-wide engineering direction.
  • Mentor engineers at all levels, including junior, senior, and staff engineers.
  • Tackle complex technical problems and provide expert judgment and solutions.
  • Incorporate best practices in software engineering into application and platform design.

Requirements

  • BS/BTech or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience building full-stack web applications on a cross-functional team.
  • 6+ years of experience with CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, VueJs, or Ember.
  • 6+ years of experience as a trusted technical decision-maker balancing short-term and long-term business value.
  • 4+ years of experience coaching other engineers.
  • Experience architecting, developing, and deploying integration apps with healthcare systems such as EHRs or EMRs.
  • Experience building Chromium-based apps and pluggable UI overlays for browser plugins or Chromium apps.
  • Experience with Windows app development in C# using native APIs and Windows deployment techniques such as MS Intune or GPO.
  • Preferred experience with at least one server-side web technology such as Node.js, Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++, Go, or JVM.
  • Preferred experience with a web framework such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
  • Strong understanding of the DOM and browser behavior.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases such as Postgres, Databricks, or Snowflake.
  • Experience with API design and development.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience working with security and sensitive-data systems.
