Description

  • Support employment and litigation counsel in managing active cases.
  • Maintain case calendars and coordinate case-specific paralegal work.
  • Collect, organize, and manage company documents and data for discovery and case preparation.
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate with outside counsel on case needs.
  • Conduct legal research on employment statutes, regulations, and case law.
  • Synthesize legal research findings into clear summaries for counsel and decision-making.
  • Implement and maintain legal technology and AI solutions to streamline legal workflows.
  • Assist with insurance and financial reporting.
  • Manage outside counsel and vendors, including budgets and billing.
  • Support discovery and e-discovery processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as a paralegal.
  • Substantial experience in employment law and litigation.
  • Familiarity with employment law fundamentals, including Title VII, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and state equivalents.
  • Proven expertise in discovery and e-discovery technology and processes.
  • Experience in legal operations, including managing outside counsel, vendors, budgets, and billing.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools in a legal or professional context, such as Claude, ChatGPT, CoCounsel, NotebookLM, Harvey, or similar.
  • Ability to evaluate AI output critically and prompt effectively.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for legal technology solutions, AI tools, and project management methodologies.
