Description

  • Design and lead Aledade’s enterprise procurement strategy and operating model.
  • Own the full procure-to-pay lifecycle and bring structure and scalability to procurement processes.
  • Establish and execute strategic sourcing programs across major spend categories such as IT, professional services, clinical vendors, and facilities.
  • Implement RFP and RFQ processes and negotiate favorable commercial terms with suppliers.
  • Use spend data and financial analysis to identify cost savings opportunities and track procurement performance metrics.
  • Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships and develop a preferred vendor program.
  • Lead contract negotiations, supplier onboarding, and resolution of invoice, claims, and quality issues.
  • Establish procurement policies, internal controls, and compliance practices, including healthcare-specific vendor requirements.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Technology, HR, and business leaders to drive procurement adoption and reduce maverick spend.
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing procurement team as the function scales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 12+ years of experience in sourcing and purchasing.
  • Experience in a senior procurement role in a high-growth environment.
  • Strong negotiation and contract review experience.
  • Track record of meeting cost reduction targets.
  • Excellent communication skills, including public speaking, negotiation, and written correspondence.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple group efforts and collaborate across teams involved in the procure-to-pay process.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • NAPM or APICS certification preferred.
  • Six Sigma or Lean training and experience preferred.
