Description

  • Own the internal AI strategy and operating model, including decisions on what to invest in, retire, and update over time.
  • Set product direction for the internal knowledge and context layer, reusable skills, agents, and workflows.
  • Partner with engineering and data teams to prioritize and deliver internal AI platform capabilities.
  • Own governance, standards, and trust models with security, legal, and the AI Governance Committee.
  • Define and track metrics that measure adoption, reuse, and business impact of internal AI investments.
  • Reset priorities each cycle based on performance and changing business needs.
  • Set the adoption strategy for company-wide scaling of internal AI tools and practices.
  • Drive adoption through learning and development, an ambassador network, and department leaders.
  • Collaborate with internal product and technology teams building the AI platform that supports internal workflows and operations.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience, including ownership of a strategic program or internal function.
  • 15+ years of experience and prior Director-level leadership for Senior Director consideration.
  • A track record of setting strategy and running operations for a company-wide capability over time.
  • High fluency with modern AI tools and a clear perspective on their impact on internal operating models.
  • Experience working across departments and partnering with governance, security, or legal functions to deliver durable solutions.
  • Familiarity with AI assistants, coding agents, internal knowledge or search platforms, or skill and plugin ecosystems is preferred.
  • Experience owning the operating model for an internal platform with multiple stakeholder teams is preferred.
  • Experience partnering with security, legal, or governance functions on responsible AI use is preferred.
  • Background in healthcare or another regulated industry is preferred.
  • Ability to meet physical requirements including prolonged sitting, extensive computer use, and occasional walking and lifting.
