Description

  • Develop multi-year strategic plans for top-tier data center operators and hyperscale clients.
  • Lead solution-based sales cycles for integrated BMS, EPMS, and SCADA platforms in mission-critical environments.
  • Advise clients on energy efficiency, sustainability, and compliance initiatives using monitoring and analytics solutions.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of data center opportunities while maintaining margin objectives.
  • Identify and close new business with data center developers and strengthen relationships with general contractors and consulting engineers.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key decision-makers across customer accounts.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and marketing teams to create proposals and support successful project execution.
  • Lead support teams in developing technical scopes of work, estimates, and proposals.
  • Support consulting engineers with system design and control specifications during pre-construction and design phases.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms, manage ongoing installations and service offerings, and help ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing large, multi-site, or national accounts in mission-critical facilities.
  • Familiarity with Uptime Institute Tier standards, ASHRAE guidelines, and NFPA requirements.
  • Proven success in plan & spec or owner-direct turnkey sales for BMS, EPMS, or SCADA solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience selling BMS, EPMS, or SCADA solutions, preferably in data centers or other complex facility types.
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, and controls drawings.
  • Understanding of building mechanical and electrical systems and how controls and monitoring solutions are applied.
  • Must be comfortable using a CRM tool for pipeline and activity management.
  • Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent degree with relevant industry experience.
  • Willingness to travel 25% to 50%.
