Description

  • Own day-to-day IT operations and internal technology infrastructure.
  • Manage cloud environments across GCP and Azure.
  • Administer internal tools, including organizational Google Workspace environments.
  • Handle device management, endpoint provisioning, and remote-work infrastructure for a distributed team.
  • Troubleshoot, configure, document, and automate IT systems and workflows.
  • Maintain secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure with strong operational discipline.
  • Support security and compliance needs related to HIPAA and SOC 2 at the infrastructure level.
  • Manage IT vendor relationships and procurement processes.
  • Build and maintain IT documentation, runbooks, and knowledge bases.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate IT operations, research, drafting, and delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 4–7 years of experience in IT operations and infrastructure management, systems administration, cloud administration, or internal IT support for distributed teams.
  • Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure across GCP and Azure.
  • Experience administering Google Workspace at an organizational level.
  • Strong understanding of networking, storage, compute resources, and cloud cost optimization.
  • Experience with endpoint management (MDM), device provisioning, and remote-work infrastructure.
  • Ability to manage IT vendor relationships and procurement.
  • Experience building and maintaining IT documentation, runbooks, and knowledge bases.
  • Understanding of security fundamentals, including SSO, MFA, RBAC, encryption, and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and SOC 2 requirements at the infrastructure level.
  • Comfort working autonomously, managing competing priorities, and communicating with non-technical teams.
  • Proficiency with AI tools in daily work.
  • Google Cloud Professional, Azure Administrator, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code or configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi preferred.
  • Scripting ability for automation with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar preferred.
  • Experience implementing backup and disaster recovery procedures preferred.
  • Background supporting distributed, remote-first teams across multiple countries and time zones preferred.
  • Experience managing container orchestration such as Kubernetes or Cloud Run preferred.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services preferred.
  • Background in small or mid-size companies with broad, end-to-end IT ownership preferred.

Benefits

  • Base salary of approximately $28,000–$35,000 USD per year, calibrated for target regions.
  • Opportunity to earn performance bonuses of up to 100% of base salary.
  • Total compensation is adjusted based on experience, location, and performance during the hiring process.
