Description

  • Build, maintain, and optimize scalable backend features using Ruby on Rails.
  • Develop front-end interfaces for AI integrations using TypeScript.
  • Connect and manage integrations with major LLM providers such as OpenAI and OpenRouter.
  • Implement and manage multi-step, autonomous AI workflows.
  • Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions to improve information accuracy and relevance.
  • Craft and refine prompts to optimize AI responses and outputs.
  • Customize pre-trained models and optimize LLM inference when needed.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver new features for larger customers.
  • Evaluate technical approaches and methodologies to ensure high-quality results.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
  • Proficiency with TypeScript.
  • Experience building agentic flows and working with LLM APIs.
  • Proficiency with SQL.
  • Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Milvus, or pgvector is a major plus.
  • Experience with modern frontend development.
  • Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks.
  • Strong communication skills with proactive status reporting and active listening.
  • Ability to evaluate technical approaches and choose effective solutions.
