Description

  • Investigate and resolve complex, high-impact fraud cases from internal teams and carrier partners.
  • Handle escalations and make final fraud decisions with direct business impact, backed by thorough documentation and data.
  • Conduct advanced data analysis to identify emerging fraud patterns, quantify risk, and support fraud decisions.
  • Review KYC and KYB documentation to assess customer risk and flag suspicious onboarding activity.
  • Partner with customer account owners and cross-functional stakeholders to communicate fraud findings and support resolution.
  • Assist the Fraud Operations Manager with process improvement opportunities and refinement of fraud prevention and detection practices.
  • Accurately document fraud attempts, trends, and loss events for reporting and continuous improvement.
  • Support ATO detection and response, including containment workflows and post-incident monitoring.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Fraud Prevention, Risk Management, or Trust & Safety at a technology company.
  • Proficiency with data analytics tools such as Looker, Datadog, SQL, or equivalent.
  • Ability to extract data independently for ad hoc analysis.
  • Strong judgment for handling complex, high-impact fraud cases and making data-driven decisions under ambiguity.
  • Hands-on experience reviewing KYC and KYB documentation for fraud or risk assessment.
  • Experience with ATO detection and response, including containment workflows and post-incident monitoring.
  • Experience with fraud detection tools and case management platforms such as Zendesk.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex fraud scenarios clearly.
  • Highly proactive, organized, and accountable, with strong prioritization and escalation habits.
  • Customer-first mindset with strong internal and external stakeholder management.
  • Nice to have: experience in the TelCo sector or familiarity with telecom fraud vectors such as toll fraud, phishing, and callback scams.
