Description

  • Own the full-stack business host payout experience across in-product surfaces, APIs, and developer platforms.
  • Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a new product area and drive execution.
  • Partner with engineers, designers, data scientists, and field operations to build and scale payments capabilities.
  • Work with external enterprise partners and business host stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into product solutions.
  • Design payout instrument management flows for multiple accounts and currencies.
  • Build host team management tools and permissions for large internal teams across Airbnb accounts.
  • Create earnings reconciliation and reporting workflows that meet accounting and financial operations needs.
  • Identify and develop new financial services offerings for business hosts.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment and make prioritization and tradeoff decisions across competing needs.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal teams such as operations, compliance, finance, and legal.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience building payments or financial products in a product management role.
  • Track record of owning product strategy, roadmap, and execution.
  • Experience building enterprise or B2B products for large business customers.
  • Experience building or managing API-based products and developer-facing platforms.
  • Global, multi-market experience across geographies, currencies, and regulatory environments.
  • Ability to articulate a clear product vision and rally cross-functional teams around it.
  • Strong prioritization and decision-making skills with the ability to communicate tradeoffs to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships with operations, compliance, finance, legal, and external enterprise partners.
  • Preferred: technical background as an engineer, data scientist, or payment operations professional.
  • Preferred: experience with global payout methods, disbursement networks, or treasury management products.
  • Preferred: experience with financial reporting, reconciliation, or accounting workflow tooling for business customers.
  • Preferred: experience at a consumer marketplace or two-sided platform with both B2B and B2C surfaces.
  • Preferred: demonstrated ability to scale products from 0 to 1 in ambiguous environments.
  • Must live in a US state where Airbnb Payments, Inc. is a registered entity if hired into the remote-eligible role.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $200,000 to $240,000 USD.
  • Eligible for bonus.

  • US-remote eligible role.
  • Occasional work at an Airbnb office or offsite may be required, as agreed with the manager.
