Description

  • Lead the strategy and implementation of comprehensive test automation across unit, service, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Build, maintain, and improve automated tests and test automation tools for features and releases.
  • Work directly with product engineering teams to write and test product code and improve test coverage.
  • Participate in design reviews to architect testable, fault-tolerant systems and improve modularity and testability.
  • Enhance existing automation frameworks to support new functionality and improve quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with CI/CD teams to integrate automated testing into delivery pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot test and release issues, isolate root causes, and verify bug fixes.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with product management, development, and other QE teams in a fast-paced release environment.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of industry experience in software testing and automation.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of at least one programming language such as Kotlin or Java.
  • Strong scripting skills.
  • Strong knowledge of test automation methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Espresso.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as Buildkite, Spinnaker, or Jenkins.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience solving ambiguous problems and delivering integrations across multiple teams with significant impact.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent field.
  • Fluency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking, is essential.
