Description

  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of large cross-functional Payments and Insurance programs.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, product, and leadership to build new Payments and Insurance capabilities.
  • Shape technical direction and influence project decisions while maintaining quality standards.
  • Define success criteria, align stakeholders, and keep initiatives focused on measurable outcomes.
  • Track risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans to protect delivery commitments.
  • Communicate progress, trade-offs, risks, and opportunities clearly to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Develop a portfolio view of Payments and Insurance programs and provide execution visibility to leaders.
  • Build trust across teams, remove impediments, and drive collaboration in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Drive process improvements that simplify work and increase productivity.
  • Work independently while balancing broad priorities and detailed execution needs.

Requirements

  • BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or an equivalent technical background.
  • 10+ years of experience in the software development industry, preferably in big tech companies.
  • 7+ years leading medium-to-large cross-functional programs spanning multiple quarters and 30+ engineers.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Asana, or comparable program management tools.
  • Strong ownership of outcomes and ability to align scope to strategy.
  • Experience building integrated plans, managing critical paths and dependencies, and maintaining RAID logs.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed organization and manage cross-team alignment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to distill complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Technical depth to engage meaningfully in architecture and trade-off discussions and influence design decisions.
  • Nice to have: experience with large-scale ML/AI platforms, AI-powered product experiences, or products leveraging AI models.
