Description

  • Define and drive the product roadmap for identity verification technologies, flows, and identity-related features.
  • Set strategy and make prioritization decisions across trust, guest experience, booking success, and marketplace health.
  • Partner with design, engineering, and policy teams to execute the roadmap.
  • Align cross-functional partners across Account, Trust & Safety, Guest Experience, Host Experience, and Customer Support.
  • Identify and evaluate external partnership opportunities that expand the identity ecosystem.
  • Design and oversee A/B experiments, metric design, and long-term impact measurement.
  • Translate complex technical tradeoffs into clear decisions for engineering and leadership.
  • Synthesize user research, marketplace data, and competitive signals to refine product strategy.
  • Foster collaboration across product, engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including at least 3 years on identity and trust-related topics.
  • Experience owning strategy and roadmaps for technically complex systems.
  • Experience with identity standards being developed around the world.
  • Ability to earn credibility with engineers and subject matter experts.
  • Experience using data for business analysis and product strategy decisions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for executives and technical teams.
  • Comfort working in ambiguity with a bias toward innovative solutions.
  • Experience evaluating external partnerships and how they can accelerate strategy.
  • Demonstrated experience pitching complex ideas to executive teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in both inbound feature definition and outbound communication and marketing aspects of product management.
  • Strong preference for candidates based on the West Coast of the US.
  • Cannot be located in Alaska, Indiana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Alabama, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Delaware, or Rhode Island.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $200,000 to $240,000 USD.
