Description

  • Develop and execute roadmaps to improve security, privacy, and operational controls.
  • Manage projects that implement new security and privacy controls.
  • Design, maintain, and optimize privileged access management provisioning frameworks and access models.
  • Measure, govern, and report on privileged access controls to ensure compliance.
  • Document and translate PAM requirements for technology partners and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineering, security, product, operations, InfoSec, Partner Management, Legal, and Privacy teams.
  • Partner with policy governance to update, socialize, and publish PAM standards.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate PAM and information security risks.
  • Design and execute test strategies for privileged access processes and resolve defects.
  • Define and maintain access management policies, approval processes, audit mechanisms, and reporting for users, vendors, and different personas.
  • Coach and train team members and support accurate, efficient Human in the Loop processes.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of access, including create, edit, delete, view, and hide actions, while refining access decision abstractions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in access and privileged access management (PAM) operations in a technology-driven environment.
  • Experience with PAM operational tasks such as privileged account onboarding, safe creation and management, policy development, and least-privilege access models.
  • Strong background in identity and access management (IAM) principles and best practices.
  • Experience operationalizing just-in-time (JIT) privilege models, role-based access controls (RBAC), and segregation of duties (SoD).
  • Working knowledge of authentication protocols and platforms such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, Active Directory, LDAP, Kerberos, and Radius.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based PAM and the management of non-human identities such as service accounts and API keys.
  • Strong understanding of security standards and regulatory frameworks including NIST, ISO/IEC, and FFIEC.
  • Strong SQL skills, including querying and dashboard creation.
  • Clear, concise communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience documenting policies, procedures, and PAM risk and compliance metrics.
  • Demonstrated ownership of continuous improvement and risk management in PAM controls.
  • Experience building and coaching teams.
  • Familiarity with access management challenges in cloud-native environments such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Experience developing or maintaining PAM strategies that cover both human and non-human identities.

Benefits

  • Annual base pay range of $102,000 to $128,000 CAD.

  • Occasional work from an Airbnb office or offsites may be included with manager agreement.
