Description

  • Design and roll out Airalo’s procurement policy, delegation-of-authority thresholds, supplier onboarding, and competitive tendering standards.
  • Establish approval workflows that provide control without slowing the business.
  • Own category strategies across network and infrastructure, sales and marketing, IT and SaaS, and professional services spend.
  • Build a single source of truth for spend visibility and vendor taxonomy, and standardize buying practices and credit-term adherence.
  • Maintain a validated savings pipeline with Finance and ensure segregation of duties, audit trails, and anti-fraud controls.
  • Lead competitive sourcing and high-value negotiations on a total-cost-of-ownership basis to deliver savings and improve working capital.
  • Partner with Finance on zero-based budgeting and turning sourcing wins into budgeted savings.
  • Own master agreements, renewals tracking, supplier performance management, and third-party risk and due diligence.
  • Embed procurement into the ERP and support the purchase-to-pay process, including PO/PR flow, three-way match, and clean accruals.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or commercial/category management.
  • Experience building or materially scaling a procurement function in a fast-growth company.
  • Deep expertise in indirect spend such as marketing, IT/SaaS, and professional services.
  • Exposure to network, telecom, or infrastructure spend such as capacity, routing, or wholesale.
  • Track record of running competitive tenders and complex negotiations with measurable, validated savings.
  • Hands-on experience designing PO/PR and purchase-to-pay processes, potentially within an ERP environment such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement policy, delegation of authority, supplier risk, and controls.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders without authority and change buying behavior with evidence.
  • Experience in a high-growth company with controls and audit-readiness maturity (preferred).
  • Direct involvement in an ERP/P2P implementation (preferred).
  • Comfort operating in a globally distributed, multi-currency, multi-jurisdiction business (preferred).
  • Must live in and have valid work authorization for the UK or Spain.
