Description

  • Own the gross margin line for all network supply and build executive-ready profitability reporting by country, region, provider, and travel corridor.
  • Identify and close margin leakage across the supply chain, and lead destination-based pricing frameworks using COGS and demand elasticity analysis.
  • Establish and track key unit economics, including Cost Per GB, Cost Per Activation, breakage rate, and contribution margin.
  • Provide financial sign-off on new product launches and commercial expansions.
  • Lead financial oversight of eSIM inventory procurement, including volume commitments, utilisation rates, and demand-supply alignment.
  • Optimise inventory holding levels and procurement horizons to reduce working capital exposure and write-off risk.
  • Develop and maintain the financial framework for IMSI lifecycle management, including cost governance, tracking, and reporting.
  • Serve as Finance lead in MNO and supplier contract negotiations, and quantify the financial value of commercial terms.
  • Own invoice validation, reconciliation, and vendor financial scorecards for major providers.
  • Own budgeting, rolling forecasts, scorecards, and leadership-facing reports for Networks-related COGS, infrastructure spend, and operating costs.
  • Lead ad hoc commercial and strategic analysis, including corridor-level profitability, breakage impact, and new market entry economics.
  • Partner with Data and Engineering to ensure financial data pipelines are reliable and governed.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Strategic/Commercial Finance, FP&A, or Management Consulting with direct ownership of a COGS line, supply-side P&L, or major cost function.
  • Strong industry knowledge in Telecommunications (eSIM, MNO, wholesale data) or another supply-intensive, data-heavy sector.
  • Familiarity with network cost concepts such as Cost Per GB and roaming economics.
  • Proven commercial acumen with experience leading vendor negotiations, structuring high-value deals, and managing multi-supplier performance frameworks.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills and active SQL proficiency for cost analysis and data reconciliation.
  • Experience building executive-facing dashboards in Looker, Tableau, or equivalent BI tools.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and influence senior operational leaders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a quantitative field.
  • MBA or CFA designation is highly desirable.
  • Must live in the UK or Spain and have valid work authorization for one of those countries.
