Description

  • Research and develop AI red teaming, adversarial testing, security evaluation, and robust inference methods.
  • Threat model agentic AI architectures, including trust boundaries, attack surfaces, privileged capabilities, and failure modes.
  • Design adversarial evaluations for prompt injection, tool abuse, privilege escalation, data exfiltration, memory poisoning, and unintended behavior.
  • Build automated security evaluation and regression frameworks for agents, models, tools, and infrastructure.
  • Translate attack findings into production mitigations, security controls, and architectural improvements.
  • Design secure agent execution environments, sandboxing, isolation mechanisms, capability boundaries, and least-privilege access controls.
  • Develop and operate scalable AI infrastructure across Kubernetes, AWS, networking, storage, and compute.
  • Implement controls for IAM, secrets, containers, network isolation, and service-to-service communication.
  • Improve observability through logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, security telemetry, and alerting.
  • Investigate production and security failures while optimizing reliability, performance, latency, and infrastructure cost.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • 5+ years of experience building production software, backend or distributed infrastructure, security systems, or AI/ML infrastructure.
  • Bachelor’s, master’s, doctorate, or equivalent practical experience in a related technical field.
  • Experience in AI red teaming, adversarial machine learning, offensive security, systems security, or related research.
  • Strong understanding of LLM and agentic systems, including inference, context management, tool use, retrieval, and multi-step execution.
  • Experience threat modeling complex systems and converting risks into engineering controls.
  • Strong Python programming and production software development experience.
  • Experience operating production services on Kubernetes and a cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, distributed systems, containers, orchestration, scalable architectures, APIs, and event-driven systems.
  • Preferred experience with agent runtimes, secure sandboxes, cloud security, penetration testing, automated adversarial evaluations, AI security frameworks, RAG systems, supply-chain security, or government and defense environments.
