Description

  • Lead large, strategic software programs from a technical perspective and act as the primary technical authority for assigned accounts.
  • Establish and enforce architectural patterns and technical standards across programs (e.g., event-driven, microservices, SOA, monoliths).
  • Set and communicate technical vision to customers and executive leadership, aligning technical goals to business outcomes.
  • Oversee delivery quality and execution, participate in code reviews, and ensure engineering excellence without cutting corners.
  • Mentor and upskill junior engineers, onboard team members, set expectations, and support professional progression.
  • Choose appropriate technologies and ensure they are used correctly across the stack; advocate for DevSecOps and prioritize day-2 operational concerns.
  • Lead workshops, ideation sessions, and collaborate with sales specialists and service partners to build account-level technical strategies.
  • Drive internal innovation by generalizing customer solutions into reusable methodologies and continuously improving the developer experience.

Requirements

  • Deep experience leading and participating in large-scale software development programs.
  • Proven experience leading modernizations or transformation initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of architectural patterns and how to apply them at scale (Event-Driven, Microservices, SOA, Monolithic, Broker, etc.).
  • Familiarity with the major three cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Comfort with technologies across the stack, including automation, platform engineering, custom development, and front-end engineering.
  • Experience delivering native mobile applications at scale (e.g., Android, iOS, Flutter) and building custom front-end applications (e.g., Angular, React).
  • Experience using AI in custom software (including developer experience and prompt engineering).
  • Demonstrated product leadership (leading products, not just projects) and the ability to build credibility with customers and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong mentorship and people leadership skills with a bias for improving team capabilities and developer experience.
  • Ability to operate remotely for a US-based role and engage directly with customer organizations as their technical leader.
