Description

  • Administer and manage Exchange Online services, including mailboxes, groups, rules, and policies.
  • Implement and maintain email authentication and security measures using Defender for Office 365 and Exchange Online Protection.
  • Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot complex Exchange Online issues and end-to-end mail flow dependencies.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance and availability of Exchange Online services.
  • Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Manage identity and access in the Microsoft Cloud, including secure hybrid environments and sign-on security.
  • Implement and enforce identity and access management policies such as conditional access, device compliance, PIM, RBAC, and risk-based controls.
  • Coordinate with IT security teams to protect identity management solutions and resolve identity-related issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Exchange Online and identity solutions with other IT systems.
  • Lead and participate in IT projects related to email and identity management, and document system configurations and changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 9+ years of experience managing Exchange Online, Azure, identity management solutions, Intune, Teams, and the Microsoft 365 technology stack.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, Azure Active Directory, and other identity management technologies.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
  • Experience or working knowledge of cloud technologies and hybrid environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth, JSON, SPML, SCIM, and XACML integration standards.
  • Preferred certifications such as MS-220, MS-100, MS-200, MS-300, MS-500, MD-101, or AZ-140.
  • Experience migrating on-premises Exchange to Exchange Online is preferred.
  • Knowledge of IT security standards and compliance regulations is preferred.
