Description

  • Plan, monitor, and communicate project roles, objectives, scope, schedules, budgets, and responsibilities.
  • Manage cybersecurity assessments, designs, implementations, migrations, remediation, and managed-service transition activities.
  • Coordinate consultants, architects, engineers, client stakeholders, and partner vendors to achieve milestones and resolve issues.
  • Manage project risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, change control, decisions, and executive status reporting.
  • Lead client governance activities, including kickoffs, status meetings, risk reviews, steering updates, and acceptance checkpoints.
  • Align delivery plans with security controls, testing, cutover, validation, and post-implementation support requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to delivery standards, documentation, evidence-collection expectations, quality gates, and project policies.
  • Manage multiple concurrent security engagements and shared resources across workstreams.
  • Forecast requirements, quote services, track expenses, analyze budget variances, and take corrective action.
  • Drive process improvements, support team members, and provide performance feedback for project-aligned resources.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of project management and planning experience.
  • Experience managing cybersecurity, IAM, or data security projects in consulting, professional services, or enterprise IT environments.
  • Working knowledge of security delivery lifecycles, including assessment, design, implementation, testing, remediation, cutover, and transition to operations.
  • Familiarity with cloud security concepts including CNAPP, CWPP, and DSPM, and public clouds including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Familiarity with identity security concepts including IAM, IGA, PAM, MFA, SSO, federation, RBAC, segregation of duties, service accounts, and secrets management.
  • Familiarity with data security concepts including data discovery, classification, labeling, DSPM, DLP, retention, insider risk, and governance.
  • Ability to manage technical and business stakeholders through security risk, compliance, and control-related decisions.
  • Experience creating executive-ready status reports, action plans, issue escalations, and customer-facing documentation.
  • Excellent organizational, presentation, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, and stakeholder expectations.
  • PMP, CSM, ITIL, Security+, CISSP familiarity, or equivalent security/project delivery credentials preferred.
