Description

  • Partner with the sales team in client meetings and pre-sales discussions.
  • Consult with customers and prospects to understand needs, pain points, and business outcomes.
  • Architect solutions independently and collaboratively across the AHEAD portfolio.
  • Demonstrate live product capabilities and prototype recommended solutions for customers.
  • Conduct business process and technical workshops, including enablement sessions.
  • Translate business challenges into technical requirements and deliverables with sales and delivery teams.
  • Provide technical expertise on observability, log analytics, SIEM, APM, and related architectures.
  • Develop documentation, pricing, and statements of work for customer engagements.
  • Develop and maintain an up-to-date demo lab with defined integrations.
  • Create enablement content and guidance for clients, sales, and marketing stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of technical experience with full-stack observability platforms such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk, New Relic, Sumo Logic, Grafana Labs, Elastic, or similar tools.
  • 3+ years of experience with infrastructure-specific change management, configuration, and monitoring solutions such as LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, or Nagios.
  • 2+ years of technical experience with log management solutions such as Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Cloud, Sumo Logic, ElasticSearch/Logstash/Kibana, Dynatrace, Datadog, Loki/Grafana, or similar tools.
  • 5+ years of experience consulting for clients on technical solutions and supporting pre-sales and solution development.
  • Enterprise experience with cloud infrastructure, networking, system administration, automation, and advanced configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and vendor-specific control planes.
  • 2+ years of experience with telemetry collection agents/techniques and telemetry pipeline tools such as Cribl, Dynatrace OpenPipeline, Datadog Vector, or Grepr.
  • Experience in architecture leadership that integrates solutions across multiple vendors.
  • Ability to evaluate new technologies and provide internal training.
  • Ability to understand customer needs, define requirements, and design solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills, and extensive experience with Visio and PowerPoint.
  • Technical leadership skills with a focus on quality and team output, plus a self-motivated working style.
  • Experience with event management systems such as ServiceNow Event Management, BigPanda, or PagerDuty AIOps is a plus.
  • Experience with Incident, Problem, and Change Management, Asset/Portfolio Management, and CMDB tools/processes is a plus.
