Description

  • Own the development lifecycle and technical roadmap for the Next.js/Payload CMS marketing website.
  • Architect, develop, review, test, deploy, and maintain scalable web applications and CMS functionality.
  • Establish development standards, CI/CD processes, environment management, documentation, and release practices.
  • Translate marketing and business requirements into sustainable technical solutions and development priorities.
  • Own website performance, reliability, accessibility, technical SEO/AIO, security, and overall platform health.
  • Design and maintain integrations across APIs, CMS, search, CRM/MAP, analytics, consent, and automation platforms.
  • Manage GTM, GA4, consent management, and marketing measurement implementation and governance.
  • Partner with Legal, Security, and IT on privacy, security, vulnerability management, and data governance.
  • Troubleshoot application, deployment, data, tracking, and integration issues.
  • Evaluate emerging platforms and AI technologies, manage technical vendors, and help build a future Web & Marketing Platforms function.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional web development experience with significant React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript experience.
  • Professional Next.js experience, including modern application architecture and server/client rendering patterns (strongly preferred).
  • Experience with modern headless CMS platforms; Payload CMS experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, webhooks, and modern web architecture.
  • Experience with Git workflows, code review, CI/CD, deployment environments, and production release management.
  • Familiarity or willingness to use AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Copilot.
  • Experience with GTM, GA4, Google Consent Mode, digital analytics, and cookie consent/CMP platforms such as Securiti or OneTrust.
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs and SaaS platforms; familiarity with Algolia or comparable search technologies.
  • Working knowledge of technical SEO, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, performance, and web security best practices.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements, communicate tradeoffs, prioritize initiatives, and provide technical direction; cloud, database, automation, data pipeline, and vendor leadership experience are preferred.
