Description

  • Serve as the primary customer contact for assigned accounts, routing technical, operational, or accounting requests to the appropriate AHEAD departments.
  • Build and maintain strong customer alliances with decision makers in assigned accounts and represent client goals internally.
  • Provide regular two-way communication between customers and internal teams, set proper client expectations, and handle client inquiries via calls and emails in a timely manner.
  • Ensure client issues are resolved efficiently and escalate problems to the Director of Sales when necessary.
  • Assist Regional Sales Specialists with strategic development and closing of new accounts.
  • Act as project manager for account-related sales processes, coordinating tasks across departments to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Coordinate with the branding department to deliver the customer’s designed hardware look and packaging from faceplate to shipping box.
  • Generate and maintain a credible monthly forecast for accounts and report this information to senior management.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with assigned accounts to evaluate satisfaction, identify additional services/products needed, and review account details (RMAs, inventory, EOL information, etc.).
  • Work with warehouse and production to ensure customer orders are processed according to production processes and schedules and follow established communication/process flow standards.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience.
  • 3+ years of customer service experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to present to small customer audiences ranging from engineers to C-level executives.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and use project management skills/tools.
  • High level of attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Some technical competence required (understanding of computer hardware, software, etc.).
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and meet deadlines.
