Description

  • Lead the design, configuration, and maintenance of Workday Benefits processes, eligibility rules, plans, and programs.
  • Partner with cross-functional People and IT teams to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions.
  • Participate in testing cycles, release readiness activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Own and manage Benefits-related reporting, calculated fields, and security configurations.
  • Ensure data integrity and appropriate access controls within Workday Benefits.
  • Contribute to other Workday domains and internal tools based on project needs.
  • Stay current on Workday releases and people technology trends to identify automation and enhancement opportunities.
  • Explore and support additional internal tools and technologies beyond Workday.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of hands-on Workday experience, including 2-3 years focused on Benefits configuration and reporting.
  • Deep expertise in Core Benefits setup, including eligibility rules, enrollment events, and integrations with benefit providers.
  • Strong proficiency in Advanced Reporting and Calculated Fields, including the ability to build complex cross-domain reports.
  • Solid understanding of HCM fundamentals, including Hire, Change Job, and Termination business processes.
  • Knowledge of Workday configuration concepts such as condition rules, organizations, hierarchies, and custom objects.
  • Working knowledge of Workday Security, including constrained and unconstrained roles and segmented security.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process efficiency and data integrity.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and translate business needs into system design.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, Business Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with Workday Open Enrollment or global benefits rollouts is preferred.
  • Exposure to Workday integrations (EIBs) related to benefits or payroll is preferred.
  • Experience in an international or fast-paced environment is preferred.
  • Workday certification in HCM or Benefits is preferred.
  • Interest in expanding beyond Workday into other people technology platforms and tools is preferred.
  • Applicants in Kuala Lumpur and Gurgaon must already be eligible to work locally; Bangkok relocation support is provided.
