Description

  • Own FedRAMP milestones, dependencies, risks, deadlines, and internal follow-through.
  • Translate FedRAMP and partner requirements into actionable tasks, owners, due dates, evidence expectations, and acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate control implementation, evidence collection, remediation tracking, and submission quality reviews.
  • Serve as the primary operational interface with external FedRAMP infrastructure and compliance partners.
  • Coordinate cross-functional commitments across Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Security, IT, Support, Product, Legal, Operations, and leadership.
  • Maintain clarity on FedRAMP scope, control inheritance, shared responsibilities, system boundaries, and relevant changes.
  • Track findings from assessment and continuous monitoring through remediation, evidence submission, and closure.
  • Provide decision-ready reporting on program status, risks, deadlines, findings, dependencies, and required escalations.
  • Continuously improve FedRAMP processes, documentation, evidence practices, ownership models, and operating routines.
  • Use approved AI tools and automation to improve program efficiency while validating outputs against authoritative requirements.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in security, compliance, technical program management, risk management, cloud security, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of direct FedRAMP program execution or ownership experience; 5+ years and multiple authorization lifecycles preferred.
  • Experience owning substantial portions of a FedRAMP authorization lifecycle, including readiness, assessment support, POA&M remediation, authorization, and continuous monitoring.
  • Experience operating FedRAMP programs after authorization, including recurring evidence collection, remediation deadlines, scope changes, and assessment preparation.
  • Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and the FedRAMP Moderate baseline.
  • Experience with cloud shared-responsibility models, control inheritance, evidence dependencies, and provider/customer obligations.
  • Ability to evaluate evidence and remediation responses, reject inadequate submissions, and drive corrective action.
  • Ability to lead commitments across technical and business teams without direct management authority.
  • Working technical knowledge of SaaS and cloud environments, including IAM, CI/CD, vulnerability management, logging, encryption, change management, dependencies, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience communicating to engineers, stakeholders, partners, assessors, and leadership.
  • Experience with FedRAMP assessors, 3PAOs, agencies, authorization stakeholders, hosting providers, or compliance partners preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. Person residing in the United States.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools or automation with appropriate human and subject-matter-expert validation.
