Description

  • Independently manage examination requests and oversee exam processes end-to-end from a Compliance perspective.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather information and fulfill external regulatory obligations.
  • Manage corrective actions resulting from supervisory activities and report progress to management.
  • Maintain a central repository of examination and reporting materials, including workpapers, worksheets, responses, and regulatory guidance.
  • Draft reports, memos, and presentations that summarize compliance review results and risk escalations.
  • Articulate key compliance risks and the controls used to mitigate them.
  • Perform due diligence reviews to ensure documentation is complete and accurate before submission to regulators.
  • Support the ongoing management of regulatory obligations as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of licensing, compliance, regulator, or internal audit experience, ideally in consumer financial services.
  • A 4-year university or college degree, or additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Working knowledge of consumer protection laws and regulations, including HMDA, BSA/AML, OFAC, Regulation E, FCRA, FDCPA, CAN-SPAM, TILA, and UDAAP.
  • Experience within highly regulated industries is desirable.
  • Outstanding time management, administrative, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and overlapping projects.
  • Proven project management, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Humility, integrity, and a collaborative mindset for working on a small, supportive team.
  • An inquisitive mindset, eagerness to learn, and willingness to take ownership of projects.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

  • Base salary of $130,000-$170,000 per year for CA, WA, NY, NJ, and CT, or $115,000-$155,000 for all other U.S. states.
