Description

  • Establish and lead a remote healthcare admissions documentation compliance function.
  • Review patient admission agreements for compliance with consent and capacity requirements.
  • Verify whether patients were of sound mind at the time of signing or whether a legally authorized representative signed with valid documentation.
  • Identify, flag, and document non-compliant, incomplete, or high-risk admission records.
  • Lead bulk audits of historical agreements across approximately 20 facilities and track remediation efforts.
  • Oversee daily compliance checks on new admission documentation.
  • Escalate complex or ambiguous cases for further review and resolution.
  • Supervise, train, and quality-check a remote compliance audit team.
  • Support hiring and onboarding as the audit function scales.
  • Deliver end-of-day reports and maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in healthcare operations, patient intake, or compliance documentation.
  • Strong understanding of patient consent, capacity, and signer authorization.
  • Prior team leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
  • High attention to detail and strong documentation accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to escalate issues effectively.
  • Ability to think critically and make sound, defensible decisions.
  • Comfort working in a remote, process-driven environment.
  • Experience with leadership, team management, compliance and risk identification, analytical thinking, and process ownership.
