Description

  • Identify, qualify, and develop new partnership opportunities for Affirm.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and the Sales and Business Development team on outreach strategy and prioritization.
  • Manage the early stages of the sales and business development pipeline through cold outreach and lead nurturing.
  • Engage potential partners to understand their goals and challenges and present the value of Affirm.
  • Work across functions with Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Merchant Risk to support business development efforts.
  • Contribute to Affirm’s growth as the company scales its core business and product.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 1 year of prior business development experience in an outbound sales role prospecting cold leads.
  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a quota-carrying role.
  • Strong desire to build a career in sales.
  • Strong passion for e-commerce.
  • Ability to work closely with multiple non-sales teams, including Legal, Merchant Risk, and Marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong time management, and high attention to detail.
  • Growth mindset and self-motivation.
  • Ability to think creatively and critically in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment.
  • Willingness to take on greater responsibility and contribute to broader team goals.
  • Passion for improving consumer banking or consumer finance.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

  • On-target earnings of $75,000 - $105,000 per year for CA, WA, NY, NJ, and CT.
  • On-target earnings of $66,000 - $96,000 per year for all other U.S. states.
