Description

  • Own the full analytical lifecycle from initial question to final business decision.
  • Use advanced data analysis to develop and optimize business, risk, and growth strategies across products and geographies.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and macroeconomic trends, and adjust strategies to balance growth and risk.
  • Partner with Engineering and Machine Learning teams to design, build, and interpret performance metrics and models.
  • Work with Product, Legal, and Compliance teams to translate regulatory and market requirements into analytical and product recommendations.
  • Oversee the development and execution of analytical frameworks for new products and market launches.
  • Collaborate with external merchants, vendors, and partners to align practices and support compliance.
  • Build repeatable AI-assisted workflows to improve team analysis and efficiency.
  • Mentor junior analysts on technical methods and domain knowledge.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in an analytically driven role within consumer lending, credit, or fintech.
  • Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, or other scripting languages.
  • Deep experience in data mining, data visualization, and statistical modeling.
  • Experience applying machine learning techniques to business or risk management problems.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives across Product, Legal, Compliance, and Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of consumer lending regulations, regional market dynamics, and macroeconomic factors.
  • Ability to translate complex regulatory and economic insights into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in a remote-first or distributed work environment (preferred).
