Description

  • Draft system requirements that define system behavior, constraints, and quality attributes such as usability, security, reliability, performance, availability, and scalability.
  • Create supporting artifacts such as data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, BRDs, user stories, and flow charts.
  • Document functional requirements that clarify product and feature needs and expected outcomes.
  • Formulate and maintain the project backlog to reflect business priorities and implementation needs.
  • Evaluate customer, employee, and stakeholder needs, along with internal and customer workflows and business processes.
  • Conduct meetings and workshops with stakeholders, analyze the information gathered, and document decisions and supporting rationale.
  • Document software implemented by the development team for future reference by internal teams.
  • Gather information through process mapping and flow-charts to support process engineering and software solution development.
  • Assess business requirements and make evidence-based recommendations for process improvements and product direction.
  • Build and maintain cross-functional partnerships with Product and Engineering teams and coordinate complex research and analysis from idea generation through implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, business, or similar work experience.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to produce clear and accurate documentation.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions and recommendations from data.
  • Ability to analyze complex data or system issues and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to identify, develop, and document requirements for stakeholders, developers, and supporting teams.
  • Proactive communication skills with a track record of setting and meeting realistic delivery timelines.
  • Ability to troubleshoot data inaccuracies, identify root causes, and recommend corrective action.
  • Prior Scrum experience and certifications are strongly preferred.
  • Prior Jira and Confluence experience is preferred.
  • Advanced experience working with SQL databases/data, including reviewing data structures, writing complex queries with joins/CTEs, and performing ad-hoc analysis.
  • Experience with ETL processes.
