Description

  • Review wire requests against artist contracts and settlement sheets, release approved funds, and respond to wire-related inquiries.
  • Audit bank accounts for fraudulent activity and return transactions, and support bank account setup and maintenance.
  • Print approved checks, analyze bank fees, and reconcile petty cash when needed.
  • Review temporary employee timesheets, upload them to a third-party payroll system, and support payroll processing and audits.
  • Process third-party payroll invoices for services rendered.
  • Review road checks, purchase card transactions, receivables, and other expenditures for accuracy and code them in JD Edwards.
  • Support month-end close activities and assist the Accounting Manager with financial close tasks.
  • Reconcile consignment ticket statements from multiple venues and festivals.
  • Review internet and call center remittances for errors.
  • Perform administrative office duties, AP/AR reporting, filing, and other ad hoc accounting requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; BA/BS degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years of related work experience.
  • Experience with JDE and Image Now preferred.
  • Experience with financial reporting and ticketing systems preferred.
  • Music industry experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, time management skills, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
