Description

  • Organize and standardize proposal templates for RFP solicitations.
  • Write proposal response content that differentiates the company from competitors.
  • Maintain and update the central content library with corporate content, supplemental documents, and proposal support materials.
  • Coordinate proposal schedules and deadlines from initial planning through submission.
  • Oversee post-submission activities, including clarification requests, deficiency reports, and final revisions.
  • Manage working sessions with the government proposal team and sales stakeholders, leading discussions and tracking action items.
  • Monitor and adjust proposal timelines while communicating key milestones to stakeholders.
  • Support formal and informal proposal reviews to ensure alignment with company standards and government solicitation requirements.
  • Help identify new leads through government competitive bidding efforts.
  • Adhere to internal sales proposal processes and solicitation guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Business, Marketing, Creative Writing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong focus on SLED government proposal management, project management, capture management, and/or government procurement/purchasing activities.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerBI.
  • Experience with Loopio proposal generation tool, Google Workspace for Business, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Salesforce.
  • Exceptional editing and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to create templates, checklists, and organizational tools to streamline proposal development.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing complex schedules and overlapping tasks.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Willingness to work after hours or on weekends as needed to meet proposal deadlines.
  • Knowledge of proposal development processes and best practices.
  • Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the TPA (Third-Party Administrator) Flexible Spending Account (FSA) industry is preferred.

  • Salary range of $75,000 to $80,000 annually.
