Description

  • Develop, maintain, and govern a centralized repository for IT infrastructure documentation.
  • Create and update SOPs, runbooks, technical guides, and architecture diagrams for infrastructure components.
  • Establish and enforce documentation standards, templates, and version control practices.
  • Review and audit documentation periodically to ensure accuracy, relevance, and compliance.
  • Manage document lifecycle processes including creation, approval, revision, and archival.
  • Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networking equipment, storage systems, and related infrastructure.
  • Document change management activities such as system upgrades, patching schedules, and infrastructure modifications.
  • Support incident management by maintaining records of incidents, root cause analyses, and resolution steps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to capture and translate technical knowledge into clear documentation.
  • Support audits, identify documentation gaps, and prepare reports on documentation coverage and status.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 1–3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or a related role.
  • Experience producing technical documentation, SOPs, or knowledge base articles in a corporate IT environment.
  • Exposure to ITIL-based service management practices is preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or equivalent are advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency with documentation and knowledge management tools.
  • Solid understanding of servers, networking, virtualization, storage, and cloud services.
  • Familiarity with diagramming tools such as Microsoft Visio, draw.io, or Lucidchart.
  • Working knowledge of ITSM processes including change management, incident management, and asset management.
  • Basic scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Bash, or Python is a plus.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible content.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to organizing information.
  • Ability to manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborative team player who works effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
