Description

  • Own the development, operationalization, and reporting of platform metrics.
  • Define and track metrics for usability, workflow orchestration efficiency, software reusability, platform adoption, integration capabilities, data quality, and operability.
  • Assess data availability and quality to determine what data must be extracted and transformed for analysis.
  • Partner with data engineers to prepare required datasets for reporting and analysis.
  • Analyze and visualize data to generate actionable insights for business partners.
  • Present findings and recommendations to business partners.
  • Enable self-service monitoring of key metrics through dashboards, documentation, and training.
  • Map user journeys and dissect complex workflows to support platform measurement and scaling.
  • Establish metric frameworks that help prove the platform is seamless, efficient, and ready for product scaling.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading the creation of metrics.
  • 3+ years of experience building BI dashboards.
  • Experience with SQL and Python.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Comfortable working with stakeholders to decompose abstract problems into experiments.
  • Familiarity with HEART Metrics, SLOs/SLAs, and DORA Metrics.
  • Experience designing, maturing, operating, and automating bespoke metrics reporting.
  • Background in Analytics, Operations Research, or a similar field (nice to have).
  • Proficiency with AI tools, specifically Claude (nice to have).
  • Experience with data lake platforms such as Databricks (preferred), Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, BigQuery, or Microsoft Fabric (nice to have).
  • Experience with Figma, Canva, Lucid, or similar design mocking/prototyping tools (nice to have).
  • Experience in Financial Services, especially Wealth Management (nice to have).
  • Applicants must be based in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, or Ontario.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $97,000 - $121,000 CAD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
  • Market-based compensation determined by skills, experience, qualifications, location, and market conditions.
