Description

  • Develop and maintain the CCR coverage roadmap for APAC TMT companies, with a primary focus on semiconductors and hardware.
  • Lead the creation of channel check frameworks, including expert sourcebase strategy and structured questionnaires.
  • Oversee project setup, research execution, and quality control for CCR outputs.
  • Guide analysts and Operations Managers on expert targeting, feasibility, and project structure.
  • Serve as the primary domain expert for APAC TMT, maintaining coverage of key companies, value chains, and investment debates.
  • Expand CCR coverage by identifying new companies, subsectors, and channel check opportunities across APAC.
  • Build and maintain expert networks across distributors, resellers, contract manufacturers, and industry consultants.
  • Help design and scale channel check workflows using AlphaSense’s AI interviewer technology.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to refine channel check frameworks and improve workflows.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in equity research, market intelligence, or a related analytical role.
  • Meaningful exposure to semiconductors, hardware, or adjacent TMT sectors, ideally covering APAC markets.
  • Strong domain knowledge of semiconductor and hardware industries, including APAC companies and chip design and manufacturing ecosystems.
  • Experience designing primary research frameworks and questionnaires for structured, repeatable insights.
  • Highly analytical and intellectually curious, with the ability to quickly build expertise across new companies, subsectors, and value chains.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with research leadership, operations teams, and analysts across multiple time zones.
  • Ability to assess where channel checks can generate differentiated insights for investors and corporate users.
  • Based in Singapore.
  • Familiarity with the core investment debates in semiconductors and hardware, including wafer demand cycles and AI-driven hardware buildouts.
