Description

  • Lead a team of Portfolio Analytics Architects while also contributing as a hands-on player-coach.
  • Set objectives, goals, and metrics that drive productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment.
  • Improve internal processes and tools to streamline, scale, and automate workflows.
  • Develop employees through performance management, regular feedback, and career development planning.
  • Plan staffing levels and partner with recruiting to hire, interview, and onboard new team members.
  • Coach, mentor, and delegate work to team members while holding them accountable for results.
  • Lead end-to-end data validation with clients and internal project teams.
  • Develop scalable data analytics processes for validation in Databricks.
  • Write Python logic to detect large-scale data anomalies and automate remediation.
  • Identify and implement AI-driven automation and LLM integrations to streamline implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or Economics.
  • 2+ years of experience in Technology, Finance, or Consulting.
  • Demonstrated leadership and managerial ability with proven success leading client initiatives, teams, and projects.
  • Hands-on experience with complex investment datasets, including multi-asset class portfolios, performance data, and market data from multiple sources.
  • Proficiency in Python, Spark, and/or SQL with familiarity with ETL fundamentals.
  • Working knowledge of REST APIs.
  • Experience with Databricks and/or a cloud-based distributed data platform.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to handle client objections.
  • Ability to prioritize and context-switch across simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in investment management software implementations or Salesforce is a plus.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship and able to begin work on the first day of employment.
  • Occasional travel required.

Benefits

  • Starting base salary of $114,000 to $142,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
  • Market-based compensation approach with pay determined by role, experience, qualifications, location, and market conditions.
  • Bonus eligibility.
