Description

  • Own creative direction, consistency, quality, and clarity across assigned client accounts.
  • Guide projects from early concepts through execution and delivery.
  • Remain hands-on in conceptual and delivery phases when needed.
  • Serve as the primary creative point of continuity for client partnerships.
  • Collaborate with Production and Tech to balance creative ambition, feasibility, and craft.
  • Lead creative development for pitches and new-client opportunities, including concepts, narratives, and presentations.
  • Represent and position Active Theory’s creative capabilities externally through industry engagement and thought leadership.
  • Provide direction and feedback that elevates designers and strengthens work quality.
  • Contribute to scalable creative standards, systems, department processes, and studio initiatives.
  • Foster a collaborative design culture and proactively identify creative opportunities.

Requirements

  • Ability to work remotely from North America or Latin America during PST hours.
  • High-level creative execution and craft expertise.
  • Strong knowledge of the possibilities, limitations, and potential of 2D and 3D motion design.
  • Experience leading creative direction across projects and client engagements.
  • Ability to balance creative ambition with production and technical feasibility.
  • Experience developing concepts, narratives, and presentations for pitches or new business opportunities.
  • Ability to mentor designers and develop creative talent.
  • Interest in and working familiarity with AI.
  • Ability to represent the studio publicly through industry events or thought leadership.
