Description

  • Research and develop applications that showcase Actian products in the Round Rock Executive Business Center.
  • Research and develop AI functionalities for the EBC using Actian VectorAI DB.
  • Build features such as facial recognition and customized user experiences.
  • Enhance market-available products, such as telepresent robots, to support custom user experiences.
  • Contribute to a focused capstone project and present work in the Internship Showcase.

Requirements

  • Must be actively enrolled in a college degree program.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or C++ is preferred.
  • Knowledge of AI-related development, such as machine learning or robotics, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of databases is a plus.
  • Available for a 12-week summer internship program beginning June 8, 2026.
  • Ability to participate in a remote internship with occasional onsite travel for orientation in Austin, Texas.
