Description

  • Design, scale, and maintain end-to-end test automation frameworks for the platform.
  • Embed automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
  • Drive automation across integration, API, performance, resilience, and data-integrity testing.
  • Serve as the technical authority for the QA automation team and enforce clean code standards.
  • Conduct rigorous code reviews and reduce technical debt in automation frameworks.
  • Coach junior automation engineers and help functional QA testers adopt automated practices.
  • Allocate team capacity across feature testing, framework improvements, and technical debt reduction.
  • Own final quality sign-off for releases and stop deployments when quality thresholds are not met.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Core Engineering, DevOps, and Sustaining Engineering on early test planning and defect triage.
  • Track, report, and improve QA metrics such as coverage, pass rate, execution time, and defect leakage.
  • Identify, isolate, and eliminate flaky tests to maintain trust in the automation suite.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate test generation, optimize suites, and analyze defect patterns.

Requirements

  • Strong background as a Senior SDET or QA Automation Lead.
  • Proven experience testing complex enterprise SaaS, distributed systems, big data engines, or data platforms.
  • Deep expertise in Java, Python, or Go.
  • Experience with modern test frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or custom frameworks.
  • Exceptional SQL skills are mandatory.
  • Strong API testing expertise is mandatory.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience working with GitHub and version control workflows.
  • Ability to use AI assistants and generative AI tools for test creation and analysis.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
